OFFICIAL JOINT STATEMENT

EL BAR CHICAGO & EL TACO CART

Regarding the Future of Our Businesses

To our valued customers, friends, and the Chicago community,

We would like to take a moment to address the future of EL BAR and El Taco Cart.

At this time, the future of both businesses remains uncertain due to ongoing personal and legal matters involving our landlord, including the denial of lease renewals for both locations. These matters have not yet been fully resolved or finalized, and we are working through the situation as we determine the next steps for our businesses.

While we navigate this challenging period, one thing remains certain: our gratitude for the incredible support, love, and loyalty you have shown us. From the beginning, the community has played an important role in our journey, and we are truly thankful to everyone who has visited, supported, promoted, and stood behind EL BAR and El Taco Cart.

We understand that there may be questions about what the future holds. As soon as we have confirmed information to share, we will communicate updates with our community. Until then, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work toward a resolution.

For now, our doors remain open, and we look forward to continuing to welcome you. We invite you to keep joining us for margaritas, tacos, great music, good company, and the moments that have made our businesses special to so many of you.

Whatever the future may bring, we are proud of what we have built together and deeply appreciative of the community that has helped make it possible.

Thank you for your continued support, your understanding, and for being part of our story. We look forward to seeing you soon, and we will keep you informed as developments unfold.

With sincere appreciation,

The EL BAR Chicago & El Taco Cart Teams
